Our Vision

At Heartland, our focus consists of three areas. Each part cannot be independent but must rely on each other. These parts, when combined, fulfill the very calling that God has placed on Heartland Christian Center.

Our Vision: Proverbs 29:18 tells us, "Where there is no vision, the people perish". With this scripture, we understand it is crucial to walk with a vision mandated by God!  And that mandate is "Winning Souls and Making Disciples of all Nations!". The vision, when enacted, accelerates us into reaching our goal!

Our Goal: Every believer a true minister. The original word "minister" was used as a verb - an action word - the very act of ministering.  Unfortunately, the body of Christ has changed the character of the word by making it a title of a person who is vocationally "ministering" to the body. A "Minister" is now perceived as a person of clergy or a position, however, the intention has always been for the word "minister" to be a word of action. We believe that God has called every believer in his Body to "minister" to one another and to those who do not know Him.

Our Process: To win people to Christ, pastor and connect them to others, disciple them in the ways of Christ (where they learn to live a new life in a new way), and then send them out capable of doing the same thing.
